The fear of getting stuck in the event of a power cut is fully understandable and therefore for peace of mind, the majority of our stairlift product range runs on battery power. These solutions will require a power outlet at the top or bottom of the staircase for charging purposes but in the event of a power cut, the lift battery will continue to work for a number of return journeys.
